Nutrition Database

NutritionData.com is the internet’s best nutritional database for a wide range of foods. I personally use their database all the time, and I encourage you to use this tool to learn what exactly is in your favorite foods.
Besides providing you with your basic “Nutritional Facts” label, NutritionData provides many other elements such as a Nutritional Target Map, Caloric Ratio Pyramid, Nutrient Balance Chart, and Protein Quality Chart. They also compile all of this data to provide you with 1-5 star ratings for weight loss, optimum health, and weight gain.
NutritionData Factors:
Nutritional Target Map: How Filling is this food? How Nutritious is it?
Caloric Ratio Pyramid: How much of this food is based in Carbs, Fats, and Protein?
Nutrient Balance Chart: In comparison of all nutrients, where does this food really excel?
Protein Quality Chart: Great for vegetarians and muscle-builders that need a wide range of amino acids. How much of each amino acid is included in the food’s protein?
Estimated Glycemic Load: Great for diabetics. How much will the food affect blood-sugar levels?
